One red lip chic styled lady Joanna Hillman replicates scenes of desirable street styles. In the shoot for Harpers Bazaar Magazine she gives us pieces from the Spring/Summer ‘13 collections that we secretly desperately NEED in our wardrobe. This shoot shows us that the most basic and casual tasks can be done flawlessly, fun, and of course colorful. So take some notes like its real street style, you need matching sets like ones given by Marc Jacobs and Kate Spade New York, classic Candela floral shirt paired with a graphic ethnic Stella Jean skirt, an edgy DVF jumpsuit, a striped Joe Fresh Tee, bright Chris Bens floral jacket, a no sleeve shirt dress by Tod’s, A-line skirts from Ostwald Helgason and Tory Burch, Gorgeous print bottoms from J.Crew and Vera Wang, and stripes, lots of stripes, Done.

Burberry oh Burberry, to confine myself of BURSTING with excitement from the most amazing clothing that I wish was at a mere glance in my closet, I will say Damn! You’ve read my mind, my dreams and my predicted my future (maybe a little too extreme) but if you wanted feminity to kick you in the ass, mold you to have the body type to fit into the clothes and enough courage to throw it on and OWN it, I say every woman, business type, fun hearted and the ones “one step ahead” NEEDS this in their wardrobe!!! Each season I am baffled of how Burberry reinvents the trenchcoat and integrates combinations that are so unconventional it’s worn down the runway as casual dress. I don’t know about you but I would LOVE a grommet fringed piece!

This collection just reminds me of Easter with a hint of naughty. There were delicate lace pieces, plush fluffy furs, youthful structures and shapes, and transparency in well carried ways, oh and I can’t forget the mouth watering pastel colors, makes me think of Peeps, yum :)

ASHISH Fall’13

Some of you might know that I’m a sucker for mixing prints, patterns and textures and Ashish did it all in a sexy, safety kind of way. He gave us coverage, structure, durability with denim patches while playing with reflective materials a look that if on earth you had any reason to spice up a construction outfit this was a way to do it.

Bitchin’ 60’s

Lets take a time warm back to the 60’s, bring on the groovy style, cool threads, and fab hair, wait….maybe we don’t have to go that far back, its Spring/Summer Fashion Week 2013. The February issue of Parisan Magazine L’Officiel brought out the heavy hitters or wicked design houses. We’ve all see rembrandts of the past Louis Vuitton show, celebrities and actresses in checkered shift dresses, style icons in Prada floral A-Line jackets, and the neverending fitted pencil dresses like the ones popularized by MadMen. The 60’s are everywhere! I say bring on big defined eyes, floral head peices, bring on wardrobe that is so far out. If you haven’t jumped on board yet, well don’t let it pass you by.
